Millenium partners with Jupiter Metals to explore gold & lithium potential at Mount Gibbs, Forrestania, unlocking major growth.
Millenium Minerals Executes JV with Jupiter Metals Group on Highly Prospective Mount Gibbs (Forrestania) Gold–Lithium Project
Millenium Minerals Limited (“Millenium” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce it has executed a Joint Venture (JV) Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Perth-based Jupiter Metals Group to acquire and advance a highly prospective gold and lithium tenement package located within the Mount Gibbs Project, Forrestania, Western Australia.
The project area, covering approximately 140 km², is strategically positioned within the Forrestania Greenstone Belt, which forms the southern extension of the Southern Cross Greenstone Belt in the Archaean Yilgarn Craton.
Highlights
- Tenement package of 140 km² within the Forrestania Greenstone Belt.
- Initial geological assessment confirms a pre-resource estimate of 25,000 ounces of gold within the Mount Gibbs Project.
- 3 km-long geochemical anomaly hosting an open-ended gold system with minimal historical drill testing.
- Historical production at King George gold mine recorded 50 tonnes @ 40 oz Au, highlighting the district’s high-grade potential.
- Significant lithium potential, with multiple untested geophysical anomalies requiring systematic exploration.
Managing Director Comment
“We are delighted to partner with Jupiter Metals Group on the Mount Gibbs Project in Australia. This Joint Venture provides Millenium with exposure to a highly prospective gold and lithium district with proven high-grade production history, established mineralisation, and substantial untested targets. We see significant potential to rapidly unlock value through focused exploration.”

Exploration Potential
Previous drilling, comprising 32 shallow RC and RAB holes, has already confirmed the presence of multiple gold-bearing zones across the tenements, with results demonstrating the project’s potential for further discovery. Notable intercepts include:
- 5 m @ 2.32 g/t Au from 25 m
- 8 m @ 0.40 g/t Au from 29 m, including 1 m @ 1.7 g/t Au from 29 m
- 5 m @ 0.50 g/t Au from 47 m, including 1 m @ 2.2 g/t Au from 47 m
The JV will initially focus on advancing exploration programs across tenements E74/807 and E74/813, with dual targeting of gold and lithium mineralisation.

Next Steps
The JV partners will immediately commence detailed exploration planning, with a view to launching targeted drilling programs to advance both gold and lithium opportunities across the Mount Gibbs Project area.
