Gerard is the Managing Director of Schedio+Partners International Pte. Ltd. (SPI), a Singapore incorporated interior design firm. In addition to his present position in SPI, Gerard is also the Strategic Advisor of Reed Capital Partners and director of a few other companies,

Gerard was also a Director (Projects) with the Singapore Cooperation Enterprise (SCE), a quasi-government agency formed (in 2006) by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Trade & Industry (Singapore). As the Director of Projects, Gerard was responsible for the business development and structuring of deals involving SCE.

Prior to joining SCE, Gerard worked for many years in the banking and financial sector. In this sector, Gerard was the Head of Business Development in UOB Securities (now known as UOB Kay Hian), the stockbroking subsidiary of United Overseas Bank and then as a private banker in Credit Suisse Private Bank.

Gerard was also actively involved (for many years) in various grassroots organisations under the People’s Association of Singapore. In recognition of his public service and participation, Gerard was conferred the Pingkat Bakti Masyarakat (PBM) by His Excellency SR Nathan, former President of The Republic of Singapore, during the National Day Awards 2001. In 2013, Gerard was also awarded the People’s Association (Singapore) Long Service Award, for service to the community.
